KANDY âNUWARA ELIYA- BENTOTA-COLOMBO
DAY 1 ARRIVE COLOMBO â ONTO KANDY (APPROX 3HRS 30MINS)
On arrival in Colombo, you will be met by our driver/guide who will assist and drive you to Kandy. En-route visitPinnawela Elephant Orphanage, established in 1975. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grandchildren born in the same location. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Kandy.
DAY 2 KANDY (B)
This morning, enjoy sightseeing tour of Kandy. Visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden – First built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was later expanded by the British. Visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and a lapidary. Also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy. Thereafter witness a cultural show. Overnight in Kandy.
DAY 3 KANDY â NUWARA ELIYA (APPROX. 2HRS 30MINS) (B)
Today proceed to Nuwara Eliya. On the way visit a Tea Plantation – Sri Lanka, Tea and Tourism are words which cannot be separated. Take a tour to the cold and misty hills that take pride of an ultimate tea tour, covering lush green blankets of tea plantations. Or just step into a tea factory processing the prestigious brand of Ceylon Tea, to observe a rich tradition kept alive up to date. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
DAY 4 NUWARA ELIYA â BENTOTA (APPROX. 5HRS) (B)
Today, travel to Bentota via Kitulgala, the location where Oscar winning film âBridge on the River Kwaiâ was filmed. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Bentota.
DAY 5 BENTOTA (B)
The day is free at leisure. Or take an optional trip to Balapitiya for a River Safari. Enjoy a two hour boat trip to Madu river, where you come experience day-to-day activities of villagers on the island. Overnight in Bentota.
DAY 6 BENTOTA â COLOMBO (APPROX. 1HR 30MINS (B)
This morning transfer from Bentota to Colombo. En route, embark on a city tour of Colombo.
The highlights of the tour are visits to a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, the oriental bazaar at Pettah, the fort, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall which was a gift from the People’s Republic of China. Continue to the Old Parliament Building and the Colombo Museum & The Folk Art Centre.
Later, proceed and check in to the hotel in Colombo.

DAY 7 DEPART COLOMBO (B)
Today you have time free until departure, you will be transferred to Colombo Airport for your flight back home.
